Updating my review as management reached out to me after previous mistaken charge and rectified the billing. Outstanding customer service that I never expected to happen. Service and ambience during my visit was great. The service was steady and unintrusive, allowing conversation to flow without interrupting. Food was good and we definitely wanted to try more small bites, but we just got too full. Both me and my dinner mate said we would come back with a group and order a lot more so we could sample more of the tapas style dishes. Standouts for me were the grilled octopus and blood sausage. 4.5 and rounding up for management reaching back out.

Lolinda is a great choice for a big group celebration. Our group of ~20 dined at Lolinda to celebrate my friends' engagement dinner. While my friend made a reservation ahead of time, he did it for 16 people but they easily made space and accomodated the larger amount for us. We were seated upstairs so it was nice to see the whole restaurant from the top. I loved that upstairs also had a bar - talk about smart design. The dim lighting and beautiful decor makes this seem like a top notch date night spot. Everything was served family-style so we got to try out a lot of the different foods. Everything was so good. I especially loved the desserts. We got warm churros dipped in sweet caramel/chocolate sauces and a really decadent chocolate cake. The platters were perfect to share too! We ordered some potatoes and empanadas to also go around and we were pretty satisfied by the end of the meal. Also, the drinks are quite strong so you'll definitely be on your way to a good time after a couple of them here. I loved the simply irresistible (rum, strawberry, lemon) and the zombie (rumx3, passion fruit, pineapple). But like I said, strong! Would definitely recommend checking this out for dinner in SF! Plus there's a parking garage nearby so parking can be relatively easy if you don't mind paying.

Busy, noisy, but in a good way--it's a great spot to take a hot date for a sexy dinner. Candles, dim lighting, flavor packed-food and fun drinks? This is the spot to be at. Definitely recommend reservations because when we went it was packed, but service wasn't bad, at best they just never brought my last drink order. Price point is focused on flavor, presentation, and quality, instead of size. Tapas style, but every dish is so good you wish you had a whole catering tray of it. A huge favorite among my party was the ceviche with the corn frites. The fish was delicate and the sauce was bright and sour. The meat platter I shared with my friend was super good; that with a couple nibbles of the ceviche, papas, and bread and I felt satiated. The cocktails don't come to play--if you don't like tasting your alcohol, please ask staff for a recommendation, they're well-balanced but definitely not juice and simple syrup-centered.
